Hector Perez, MD

Biography

Hector Perez, MD, is the current rhinology fellow in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Washington. After graduating from Stanford University with his undergraduate degree, Dr. Perez completed his medical school at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He went on to complete his residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Loma Linda University Health. Dr. Perez is passionate about the field of rhinology and skull base surgery, specifically regarding enhancing patient care for chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, and sinus tumors. He is also deeply invested in optimizing the quality of care his patient's receive in clinic and in their post-operative care. Dr. Perez has won awards at national conferences for his research in optimizing pain control after surgery and is currently funded by a grant from the American Rhinologic Society. His current research focus is on addressing disparities of care in rhinology. He has participated in humanitarian missions to Honduras and looks to continue to work in advancing rhinology care outside of the US.
