
Larry Duckert, MD, PhD
PROFESSOR EMERITUSBiography
Larry Duckert was on the faculty in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery for over 30 years. After his residency training at the University of Minnesota, where he also obtained a PhD, he began his career here in Seattle. He initially was the director of otolaryngology at Harborview Medical Center, leading trauma and facial plastic surgery care. He then underwent additional fellowship training at the University of Wurzburg in Germany in 1990, acquiring further specialization in otologic and neurotologic surgery. He served as the medical director of the Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Center at the University of Washington Medical Center, focusing his practice on ear and skull base disease.
