Biography

Nilesh Shah, M.D., is a head and neck surgeon at UW Medicine - Northwest.

In addition to general otolaryngology, Dr. Shah specializes in nasal, sinus and sleep apnea surgery and surgical management of thyroid and salivary gland tumors. His philosophy is to work with patients to develop a treatment plan. He takes the time to educate educate each patient to help them make the best choices for their healthcare.

Dr. Shah earned his MD from Ohio State University, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Otolaryngologic Allergy.

Dr. Shah’s clinical interests include nasal and sinus surgery, medical management of environmental allergies, surgical treatment of sleep apnea and surgical management of thyroid and salivary gland tumors.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Shah enjoys golf, basketball, running and skiing.
