Biography

Dr. Ummat is a graduate of Dalhousie Medical School, where he also completed his ENT specialty training. He brings over 25 years of comprehensive ENT practice to our team. Dalhousie Medical School is consistently rated as one of the top three ENT residency programs in Canada. He received his MBA from the University of Washington Foster Business School in 2015.

He is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and the American College of Physicians Executives. He currently the Section Head of Otolaryngology at the Northwest Campus of the University of Washington Medical Center.

Dr. Ummat is married and has three children. He enjoys cycling, skiing, and sailing. His passionate hobby is inventing, and he has several inventions currently being patented.
