Izzie Angulo

Izzie earned an MS in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Teachers College, Columbia University. Prior to graduate training, they received a BS in Speech and Hearing Sciences and a BA in American Ethnic Studies, with a minor in Diversity, from the University of Washington. They also completed advanced clinical training at the Sean Parker Institute for the Voice at Weill Cornell Medicine, where they specialized in the evaluation and treatment of voice, swallowing, and upper airway disorders.

In addition to their clinical training, Izzie served as a research assistant in the Aerodigestive Innovations Research Lab (AIR) at Weill Cornell Medicine, contributing to research publications on voice and swallowing disorders. They also worked as a research assistant in the Upper Airway Dysfunction Laboratory at Columbia University, where they engaged in research focused on improving swallowing outcomes and quality of life for patients with dysphagia and dystussia.
